The integration of eDistrict Delhi with DigiLocker has been a great success story.
The eDistrict Delhi application issues various types of certificates such as Income certificate, Caste Certificate etc. to the residents of Delhi for availing various Government services. The eDistrict application team completed the entire process of integrating with DigiLocker (including application testing) within record 10 days and immediately started issuing all the certificates under eDistrict services through DigiLocker. This has enabled the residents of Delhi to get digital copies of the certificates directly into their DigiLocker account, thus saving lots of time and effort, otherwise spent in getting the hard copies such certificates.
The eDistrict team followed this up with automating the daily document push module of DigiLocker which enables them to automatically issue documents through DigiLocker on daily basis (at runtime), without any manual intervention.
